Montessori-Fachtag (Hybrid-Konferenz) zum Thema "The needs of children and adolescents in the 21st century" am 10. Juni 2022 von 10 bis 13.30 Uhr auf der Bildungsmesse didacta in Köln - MONTESSORI CONFERENCE AT DIDACTA (English below)

Haben Kinder oder Jugendliche heute andere Bedürfnisse? Was würde Dr. Maria Montessori über die Entwicklung der digitalen Technik sagen und wie würde sie diese in die jeweiligen Lernumgebungen integrieren? Auf diese sowie weitere Fragen wird im Rahmen des durch Montessori Deutschland organisierten Fachtages am 10. Juni 2022 auf der Bildungsmesse didacta in Köln eingegangen.

Drei internationale Referentinnen werden die Teilnehmer:innen des hybriden Fachtags auf eine Montessori-Reise durch die frühe Kindheit über die Grundschulzeit bis hin zu Pubertät und Adoleszenz begleiten und nach Antworten aus dem umfangreichen Werk von Maria Montessori suchen. Rukmini Ramachandran, Direktorin für Training der Navadisha Montessori Foundation in Chennai (Indien), wird den Fachtag mit einem virtuellen Vortrag über aktuelle Entwicklungen und Erkenntnisse zum Thema für die Altersgruppen von null bis sechs Jahre eröffnen. Anschließend berichten sowohl virtuell Micaela Kuh, AMI-Trainer of Trainers und Schulleiterin der Montessori-Grundschule „The Child’s House Primary“ in Dublin (Irland) als auch in Präsenz vor Ort Jenny Marie Höglund, Direktorin des Montessori Center for Work and Study, Rydet (Schweden), jeweils über ihre Arbeit mit Kindern und Jugendlichen von 6-12 bzw. 12-18 Jahren. Zum Schluss werden Fragen der Teilnehmer:innen beantwortet.

Der Fachtag findet am 10. Juni 2022 von 10 bis 13:30 Uhr als Hybrid-Konferenz im Congress-Centrum Ost / Offenbachsaal statt und wird von Dr. Jörg Boysen, Vorstandsvorsitzenden von Montessori Deutschland, moderiert.

Durch die Internationalität der Montessori-Pädagogik und des diesjährigen Fachtages werden die Vorträge in englischer Sprache gehalten. Eine Übersetzung (kostenpflichtig) wird nur vor Ort über Kopfhörer (gegen Pfand) angeboten.

Montessori symposium (hybrid conference) on "The needs of children and adolescents in the 21st century" on June 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. at the didacta education fair in Cologne

Do children and adolescents have different needs today? What would Dr Maria Montessori say about the development of digital technology and how would she integrate it into the respective learning environments? These and other questions will be addressed at the conference organized by Montessori Germany on June 10, 2022 at the Didacta education fair in Cologne.

Three international speakers will accompany the participants on a Montessori journey from early childhood through elementary school to puberty and adolescence and present answers from the extensive work of Maria Montessori. Rukmini Ramachandran, Director of Training at the Navadisha Montessori Foundation in Chennai (India), will open the conference with a remote presentation on current developments and findings for the age group from 0-6 years. Micaela Kuh, AMI Trainer in training and principal of the Montessori elementary school "The Child's House Primary" in Dublin (Ireland) then speaks remotely, about her work with children between the ages of six and twelve and Jenny Marie Höglund, director of the Montessori Center for Work and Study, Rydet (Sweden), speaks in presence on adolescents of age 12-18. At the end, questions from the participants will be answered.

The conference takes place on June 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as a hybrid conference in the Congress Center East / Offenbachsaal. Jörg Boysen, President of Montessori Germany, will facilitate.

Due to the internationality of Montessori pedagogy and this year's conference, the lectures will be held in English. A simultaneous translation into German (subject to a fee and deposit) is offered – on site only – via headphones.
